Emma has started to realize that Henry is depressed. Sheriff Graham's death has shown Henry that his mother means business and is willing to kill to protect the Curse. Emma doesn't think Regina could have had anything to do with Graham's death, but she certainly hasn't grown any more fond of her. The two women square off again when Regina fires Emma from the Sheriff's office and is about to appoint Sidney Glass, editor of the town paper The Daily Mirror, as Sheriff. At first, Emma seems defeated, but Mr. Gold arrives with the town charter to lift her spirits. It seems that an election is called for, so it becomes Glass vs. Swan for the title of Sheriff.
