Big news, soap fans: if you loved actor Ted King on General Hospital or The City, or if this is the first you've seen of him, you're all going to be treated to a whole lot more of him as he prepares to join the cast of One Life to Live as "Luis."

Here's what we know: King will debut on One Life to Live on January 21st and will be working opposite Kassie DePaiva's Blair. Love interest? Rival? Long-lost fraternal twin? We'll have to wait and see.

"We're creating this together," King told Entertainment Weekly. "It was an opportunity I couldn't pass up on. When I was originally hired [for GH], it was for a short period of time. I had every intention of going back to primetime. But during that time, I really enjoyed myself with the role -- a lot more than I thought."

That stint on GH would last five years, from 2002 until 2007, and span two characters, criminal brothers Luis and Lorenzo Alcazar. Lorenzo had tumultuous romances with both Carly and Skye, so if this new character and Blair are headed for a rollercoaster romance, King will be well-prepared.
