All in the Family
Season 4 | Episode 6 | Aired 10/28/10
Jacob is a car accident patient with minor injuries who tries to make a hasty exit from the hospital. Pete discovers the reason Jacob wants to skedaddle is because he was in the car with a male prostitute. In a related case, Charlotte informs her patient, Angela, that she’s now well enough to finally start trying to have kids with her husband, who happens to be Jacob. Uh oh.

Charlotte wants to tell Angela about her husband’s dalliance especially after the guy’s blood test reveals he’s HIV positive. Pete wants a little time to convince Jacob to tell Angela the news himself. Along with Violet and Charlotte, Pete assures Jacob that they can help him and his wife get through this.

It’s a difficult time when Jacob introduces his wife to Evan the prostitute, who also happens to be the man he loves. As it turns out, Angela has known deep down that her husband was gay all along. They’re both grateful that everything is out in the open now. But Angela is devastated when Jacob tells her that he’s HIV positive.
