Addison receives an emergency phone call. It's Maya, Naomi's 13-year-old daughter, who's afraid she has gonorrhea. Shocking, right? She's just a kid! A kid who's too afraid to tell her mother she's sexually active. Addison keeps her secret and performs an examination. Maya's test results come back and it's good news. The young girl does not have gonorrhea.

In other cases, Dell performs his first pap smear, during which he's so nervous he drops the speculum on the ground. Sam treats Beth, the victim of a robbery, who wants a magic pill that’ll make her forget the traumatic event.

Pete has to deliver the bad news to an Olympic runner, Nicole, that the bronchial spasms she's been experiencing while running are killing her. Pete advises Nicole to stop running, but that’s doesn’t happen. Pete visits the track where she continues to train. During a sprint, Nicole runs out of breath and collapses onto the ground, unconscious.
