Everybody likes surprises, right? Only if they're the good kind.

Good kind: Cooper arranges for a surprise gift to be delivered to Sam: A red-headed stripper named Ginger.

Bad kind: Cooper then has bad news to deliver to two young parents, Beth and Greg O'Brien. Their baby daughter Emily is suffering from Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease and only has five years to live.

But, that's not the surprise. After running blood tests, Addison discovers that neither Beth nor Greg are Emily's biological parents. Beth responds as one would expect a mom to react. She's horrified and confused. Greg, on the other hand, acts defensively as if he's being accused of a crime. Hmm, maybe he is?
