In Which We Meet Addison, A Nice Girl From Somewhere Else
Season 1 | Episode 1 | Aired 09/26/07
Meanwhile, Violet tries to help one of her patients, Jenny, a woman who has had a complete mental breakdown. As a crazed Jenny kneels down obsessively counting department store floor tiles, Violet gets help from her best friend, Cooper, who produces records showing that the distraught woman is still reeling from having to pull the plug on her young son who died from a brain tumor years ago.

At St. Ambrose, Naomi convinces Maria that she has to stop being bitter over the divorce and let Ken go, much like the way Naomi has to get over her own divorce from Sam. Maria relents and Naomi finally extracts the sperm from Ken for Leslie.
