(ABC/ERIC MCCANDLESS)PAUL ADELSTEIN, MARGUERITE MOREAU

A woman named Lynn comes to Oceanside looking for her kidnapped son, Evan, who has severe diabetes. Cooper remembers he was being abused by his stepfather, an accusation Lynn vehemently denies. Turns out Coop has been secretly treating Evan, who has been living on the streets with his real dad, Frank. When Evan calls his mom to tell her to stop looking for him, the police know Cooper was involved and he’s arrested.

While in lockup, Cooper confides to Charlotte that he saw Evan and is worried that he might have a kidney infection. He wants her to get him antibiotics. The next day, Cooper must stand before a judge. As he is led into the courtroom, his friends can see that he’s been badly beaten. The judge orders him to reveal the location of Evan and his father. Cooper refuses and is held in contempt. We knew he wasn’t gonna talk.

Addison risks putting a child in danger to get Cooper out of jail. Did she make the right call?

Yes, Addison did the right thing. She had a clear vision of her responsibility in this situation regardless of her friendship with Cooper. She did the right thing! Cooper allowed his "feminine" side (emotional) to overide the impartial, logical, and legal choices that he should have taken once they were presented to him. Glad to see that he could display an emotional side but it was not the right choice. I love Addision and what she stands for!

Addison was wrong and I'm so glad that Cooper blasted her.

Wrong question. Addison did the right thing according to the law instead of being an accomplice to a crime of aiding and abetting a fugitive.

I don't understand how anyone could side with dumb Cooper. Is ok to let a sick child live on the run, a mother denied her child, and a man accused of a crime he did not commit? I don't think so. Cooper was a IDIOT from the get go. By LAW, he is required to report any claims of child abuse. So the LAW can get to the bottom of it. In America people are INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. It is not up to that idiot Cooper. Cooper put his life/career, his girlfriend, and the practice on the line all because of a snotty nose brat who didn't like step daddy. If Cooper had done the RIGHT THING from the start none of this mess would have happened and the COURTS would have gotten to the truth. If I was that boys mother and step father, I would sue Cooper for all he is worth and take his license. Addison was right. Nuff said.

Considering the alternative, yes she did. It was either she called the police and hoped that they would get to the truth, or Cooper would have stayed in jail, got beaten up, and risked not only his life and carrer but that of everyone in the practice... And the kid turned out to be lying, so there...she wasn't the hero, but she saved his a** yet again, and got crap from him...Cooper grow up a bit already!

She double crossed Cooper - plain and simple! If he wanted to stand up for that kid and get his a** beat for it then that is his business......I like Addie but I didn't like that side of her.

Very curious about what everyone here had to say about 2x10. Pretty sure 9 out of 10 were all 'yay for Cooper saving the kid..!' Yes, she did the right thing, but hey, it wasn't thát obvious.

Yes, she did the right thing. There was never any proof this kid was abused, just his word and this stuff happens with kids and step parents often. Why didn't Cooper realize this and just take the kids word? That poor mother and Cooper doesn't even seem to care about that.

Yes, she did the right thing, but after how ungrateful Cooper acted towards her she probably should have left him in there to rot.

She did the right thing, but the question is wrong. She got a child OFF THE STREETS. She got a child back to her mother and trusted the courts to make the right choice. That is the right decision. It's not about Cooper and jail.

This is a dumb question. Uh OBVIOUSLY since the kid was a liar! Addison was right. It is not up to them it is for the court's to decide. Cooper is a idiot for taking the kids word without real proof.
