Charlotte Grayson is still recovering from her previous whirlwind Hamptons summer, and if this year proves to have as many twists and turns as that one did, she’s in for quite the ride.
Charlotte, a straight-A student who doesn’t believe in being defined by your lot in life (even if hers is being born into an incredibly wealthy family), likes to have fun and defy her parents as much as any other teenage girl does. Except Charlotte isn’t like other girls. Last summer, she not only fell for Declan Porter, a kid from the docks who, as far as her mother is concerned, is beneath Charlotte, but learned that her biological father is none other than David Clarke. Charlotte became determined to find out everything she could about the man, however coping with both her relationship and her newfound heritage took a toll on the young lady. Charlotte turned to drinking and pills, an escape that proved almost deadly.
So while constantly trying to keep her family together, Charlotte’s also doing her best to keep herself in check, to not become the cold-hearted woman she at times believes her mother is, and to possibly reconnect with the boy she can’t help but want to be with.
Christa B. Allen knew at an early age that she wanted to be in front of the camera. After acting in several commercials, a student film and voiceover, her big break came when she was cast as the young Jennifer Garner at age 13 in the film 13 Going on 30. She later played opposite Garner and Matthew McConaughey in the New Line film, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
Allen recently starred in the independent film One Kind Day, and landed the lead roles in the independent comedy/horror films Detention of the Dead, which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival this year, and Deadly Sibling Rivalry.
On television she has played guest roles on Cold Case, CSI and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
