It's time to go behind the scenes of Rookie Blue season two with exclusive commentary from the cast and creators of the show. This week, star Eric Johnson (Luke Callaghan) and Executive Producer/Writer Tassie Cameron discuss Luke and Andy's heated conversation at a basketball court in the opening of episode 207, "The One That Got Away."

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
She keeps missing shots. Missy is usually a lot better than that.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
Yeah, she's going to be embarrassed that we used the take where she kept missing.

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
She didn't miss that shot.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
The one where she hit you?

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
Yeah.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
I love this scene. It's probably my favorite scene of you guys.

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
This is really interesting to me because when we were there on the day, neither person wanted to be near each other and there is really nothing to be said, and it makes it incredibly awkward and loaded.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
Wasn't it your idea to go on the other side of the fence?

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
No, I think that that was our director Mr. DiMarco. But there was no way that I was going in there with a caged animal. That's really what it was like.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
Yeah. Originally I had written that scene so that you were driving her to the office afterwards, but Missy and all of the writers were like: "What? Are you kidding? She wouldn't get in the car with that guy."

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
Not with Dog House Luke.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
You're really good in that scene. It's funny, this episode was originally going to be the first episode of the season and that basketball game was going to be a big huge, fun triumphant rookie opening and it's evolved into this melancholy two-hander.

Eric Johnson: Detective Luke Callaghan
It's pretty amazing—the evolution of a scene throughout the year.

Tassie Cameron: Executive Producer/Writer
Yeah, it's really bizarre. It stayed basketball but it became something completely different.
