Season 6 Episode 4 "Letting Go" Recap: Nick Gets an Opportunity for Revenge

By Jim Donnelly | Jul 17th, 2015

Nick gets a call from a wheelchair-bound man named Finn. These two obviously have a complicate past. Finn recently got the license plate of the pickup truck belonging to someone they’ve been after for many years. He’s deceptive with Juliet as he tracks down the truck. For more details, check out the Rookie Report for the Season 6 “Letting Go” episode of Rookie Blue (original airdate July 16, 2015).

Going Rogue: Juliet learns that Nick and his brother, Finn, were in a car accident as kids. A drunk driver hit them killing their parents. After all these years, Nick and Finn have found the driver, Marco Brunswick. A plan for revenge is set in motion.

The Truth Comes Out: Nick and Marco spilt a bottle of bourbon on a rooftop. The subject of the hit-and-run comes up. Marco realizes the man he’s been drinking with is the kid who was in the backseat of the car all those years ago. He wants to be pushed off the roof. He taunts Nick, who is taken aback when he learns that his brother was actually driving that day.

Every Duncan Has His Day: Gail is making a bucket list of things she wants to do before she becomes a mom. Dance lessons are one of her desires. Duncan can dance. He proves this by getting down with some community kids. Gail asks him to help him learn some hip-hop moves. Duncan is pleasantly surprised when Chloe asks to split some warm beer with him.

Passion Play: After Nick confronted his brother about the day of the accident, Finn admitted that he was driving. He also says he’s glad he’s the one who ended up paralyzed and not his little brother. Later, Nick and Juliet finally give in to the obvious passion they’ve been feeling for each other.
