By Alexis Johnson Sep 16, 2013

Congratulations to Dan Bucatinsky for winning an Emmy for his performance as James Novak in Scandal! He took home the award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama at the 2013 Creative Arts Emmys and it was his first Emmy win.

Having watched Dan was James all last season, we aren't surprised he has an Emmy in hand today. Allow us to illustrate our point with our 3 favorite amazing James performances from Season 2.

Favorite Performance 1:
James Demands Cyrus' Confession

Favorite Performance 2:
James and Cyrus Fight over Defiance

Favorite Performance 3:
Cyrus Mocks James

Fellow Star Kerry Washington is also nominated for an Emmy this year—Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Watch the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards on September 22 to send all your best Gladiator energy her way for a win! It's also totally worth tuning in just to see what she wears. Kerry always looks fabulous!

Congratulate Dan below! Here's some of the love from the Scandal family.
