Eli Says Olivia Failed and It's Time for Jake to Come Home
After Francisco Vargas is declared President, Jake (Scott Foley) is confronted by Eli (Joe Morton). Eli says he has been watching Jake since he earned his freedom. However, Eli feels Jake was never truly free as he has been tightly tethered to Olivia's leash on him, which may have been worth it if he'd become Vice President. However, Olivia failed to win the election. Jake corrects Eli, it was Eli that failed, not Olivia. Eli tells Jake he can still be Vice President if he plays his part. He tells Jake simply, 'It's time to come home' in this scene from 'Scandal' Season 6 Episode 5, 'They All Bow Down.' Watch the premiere of "Scandal: The Final Season" THURSDAY October 5th at 9|8c on ABC.
