Scott and Alexa Jacobs

How did you become a Millionaire?

Scott: I became a millionaire by a combination of making great decisions in real estate in the 80's and using that money to start a successful art gallery chain and becoming an artist at the same time. Now my art can be seen in all corners of the World!

Is there anything that would surprise viewers to learn about you?

Scott: I think viewers would be surprised to see that I'm an emotional person.

Alexa: I would hope viewers would be surprised to see how much this week affected me. Maybe they didn't think it would because I am young and my parents have money. I hope people didn't/don't judge me like I judged people.

Why did you want to be a part of the show?

Scott: I wanted to be a part of the show as soon as I saw it for the first time.

Alexa: I wanted to be a part of this show because it sends an amazing message out to people. It's not some stupid reality show. This is something that makes a difference.

Was there anything you were hoping to learn about yourself?

Scott: I was hoping to see how I would react being out of my comfort zone.

Alexa: I was hoping to learn a lot about myself this week and I did. I definitely learned more than I thought I would. I didn't know it was possible to show this many different emotions in one week.

What surprised you most about your experience as a "Secret Millionaire"?

Scott: What surprised me the most about being the secret millionaire is I learned how so little can go so far!

Alexa: The most surprising thing all week was how much I changed and how much I noticed my Dad change. Everyone I met this week changed my life.

How did you feel about the experience living "undercover"?

Scott: It was a little difficult living under cover. I'm not used to lying to people.

Alexa: It was really hard living undercover because I HATE lying to people! I am an awful liar, so when someone started asking too many questions, I just walked away!

How did you feel living on such a limited amount of money for a week?

Scott: Living on a limited budget was a first for me in years. It made me think twice about buying a $4 thing of chocolate syrup.

Alexa: It was hard living with such a limited amount of money. I knew my Dad and I could do it because we don't eat much. If we had anything else to pay for it would not have been easy. I don't think we would have done it if we had anything else to pay for.

Has your life changed since this experience?

Scott: This experience for sure changed my life.

In what ways?

Scott: The ways my life has changed are: I learned the importance of volunteering; I learned not to judge a person before you know the full story; and I grew closer to my daughter and my feelings.

Alexa: It has given me a new view on life. A way more positive view on life. I will never forget this and I will always cherish it.

Do you have any suggestions or advice for someone who wants to become involved in helping their community?

Scott: My advice is just get off the couch and do it! It's amazing!

Alexa: I would tell someone interested in volunteering to jump in with both feet and don't think twice.

Any other final comments you'd like to add?

Scott: This week has changed my life!

Alexa: This week changed my life, my view on life and those in it. I have the utmost respect for everyone that could be a part of this with me.
