For the last 13 years, Kimmie Boubier and her two best friends and roommates, Helen-Alice and Marika, have lived a sheltered life. Instead of going out on the weekends, they've had a standing date every Friday night. So while everyone around them is getting married and moving on, all they have is each other and their "Super Fun Night" tradition.
Liza Lapira's first television series regular role was on Showtime's Emmy Award-winning series Huff, as Maggie, Oliver Platt's long-suffering assistant. She was recently a regular on Fox's comedy Traffic Light and on ABC's comedy Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23.
Lapira recurred on both seasons of Dollhouse (Fox/Joss Whedon) and has had recurring guest roles on Dexter, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, ER and NCIS. On the big screen she recently appeared opposite Steve Carell, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in Warner Bros.' Crazy, Stupid, Love. Other film credits include Columbia Pictures' 21, opposite Kevin Spacey, Tony Scott's Domino, J.J. Abrams' Cloverfield and Universal's Fast & Furious and Repo Men.
Lapira began her career doing theatre in her native New York and remains a proud supporter of LA's BEST, an after-school enrichment program associated with the Los Angeles Unified School District.
She currently divides her time between New York and Los Angeles.
