Played by Lauren Ash

For the last 13 years, Kimmie Boubier and her two best friends and roommates, Helen-Alice and Marika, have lived a sheltered life. Instead of going out on the weekends, they've had a standing date every Friday night. So while everyone around them is getting married and moving on, all they have is each other and their "Super Fun Night" tradition.

Lauren Ash has been the featured star of Scare Tactics on SyFy for the past two seasons. Her other lead roles include that of Bernie on Almost Heroes (Showcase), for which she won a Canadian Comedy Award, Sam on the animated series The Dating Guy (HDnet) and as herself on the Comedy Network show Punched Up. She has been a series regular on The Ron James Show (CBC) for three seasons, as well as on Hotbox (Comedy Network) and Howie Do It (NBC).

An alum of both the Second City Toronto Mainstage and the Second City Chicago Mainstage, Ash is one of only four Canadians ever to appear on the Chicago Mainstage. She is the recipient of five Canadian Comedy Awards and has been nominated for a Dora Award (Toronto) and Jeff Award (Chicago) for her work on their respective Second City stages. Most recently she was nominated for a 2013 Canadian Comedy Award for Comedy Person of the Year.

On the big screen Ash was seen in the Academy Award-nominated film Lars and the Real Girl, with Ryan Gosling, as well as the film Camille with the late David Carradine.
