Without wanting to degrade carrer women, I have to say that homemaker is as much important as any other career...maybe if there were more homemakers, American values will not be so forgotten, because women will have more quality unstressed time to teach values to their children, and emotional needs will be more fulfilled. In this world every human being counts...the ones who work outside their homes and also the ones who stay and work in their homes and give more time to their families. Respect for everyone is the secret to a healthy and happy living.
While I appreciate your "without wanting to degrade career women" comment, you proceed to do just that. Not every mother is able to stay home all day with their children, and these mothers should not be made to feel guilty and responsible for the world imploding. I'd love to "give more time to" my family, but there are bills that have to be paid. So congratulations, you married someone who is able to pay all the bills; you have accomplished a lot. Believe it or not, there are mothers who are capable of working AND raising good kids who have sold values and are contributing members of society. How dare you say that my son's emotional needs are not fulfilled because I have to work. HOW DARE YOU...
Based on what we know so far about everybody, if Jake picks her, I would be at peace with that. Not by top choice for him by far, but unlike many of the other contestants, she hasn't done anything to self-destruct so far.
I've never in my life heard of such brain-less comments. Thank goodness Valishia is not the type to let things get to her. The sad thing is, if any of you were in need she would be the first to try to help you!!! I feel sad for whoever has to know the people to make such stupid comments. I would be embarrassed if I were you!! Wait till you see the show.
I've known Valisha since she was in high school and trust me she doesn't need any touch ups on her photos. I can't believe what a big deal you are all making about her being a homemaker. Does it really matter ??
um honey if u think these pictures are not touched up ur crazy.... it is called PHOTOSHOP and ALL the pics are touched up...and she seems like the sweetest girl but she is manly and a homemaker?? its called someone ELSE is paying MAAA BILLS!!! Nothing wrong with being passionate about your kids (if she has kids), but if she is supposedly a "Motivational Speaker" then why doesn't it say that? "Homemaker" makes her sound like someone already settled down with a husband and family of her own.

Since when does homemaker mean that you're not passionate about anything?! What about her kids?! And supposedly she is a motivational speaker and volunteers a lot.

Mature woman...too much so for Jake. Homemakers can find the kitchen and most have recipe books. Probably makes a mean pot roast but I don believe she can fly anywhere but back to Carlsbad. 2bad. Sure she'll be competitive but she won't win.
Gee! Did you all think maybe that sounds better than saying like maybe she has plenty of money and doesn't have to work at all. If this is so wouldn't we all like to be a homemaker like her?

Homemaker? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Is she already married? That's ridiculous why on earth would they list her as a "homemaker" she is supposed to be single. Can't they just say unemployed? ABC is already marking this woman as either married or a single mom
Single moms are hot! And, at 32, this girl isn't desperate for a man and probably knows what she wants. Props to her for doing something fun for herself AND taking care of her kids! And, she's not just a stay at home mom. If you read about her, you would know she is also a news reporter and very involved in her community. She seems like one of the only normal ones.
I agree especially if they clear up the term "homemaker" Homemaker is a real job but for people who have children, etc. unless she works from home. She looks like a decent caring person and could be a great match for Jake.
