Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell Get Bachelor Spin-Off Series on Freeform

Wedding bells are on the way for The Bachelor's Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell and the couple is giving viewers an inside look at their lives and road to the altar in a new unscripted show. Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After airing on Freeform in the fall will follow the pair as they navigate life together in the real world after the glitz and glamour of The Bachelor's exotic dates and fantasy suites has ended. On the series Ben will be exploring his political career options in Denver while Lauren is trying to establish her post reality show identity. In addition, fan favorites from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will be featured on the show as they pop in to give the couple advice on maintaining a lasting relationship out of the spotlight.

"Ben and Lauren are the biggest Bachelor couple of the last 10 years," Karey Burke, Freeform's executive vice president of programming and development, says in a statement about the series. "Their romance captured everyone's attention, and we are delighted to continue their story on Freeform."

Bushnell received Ben's final rose at the end of The Bachelor Season 20 after Ben confessed he also loved now Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher, but his feelings were stronger for the bubbly blonde.

Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After is set to premiere October on Freeform.
