Date by Date Breakdown: Chris

Chris and Desiree have had quite a journey on The Bachelorette.  Follow their love story date by date.  Be sure to tune-in to see who she chooses on the season finale of The Bachelorette that airs on ABC this Monday, August 5 8|7c. 

 

DATE ONE: The Dodge Ball Group Date

Chris had his first date with Desiree in Los Angeles.  Desiree invited him to the dodgeball group date.  Chris showed off his athletic prowess by making it to the very end of the game where he took Zack K. head on.

At the after party, Desiree gives Chris the group date rose and the two attend a private rooftop concert by Kate Earl.  Chris and Desiree share their very first kiss at the private concert.

 

 

DATE TWO: The Mr. America Pageant Group Date

Chris’ second date is once again a group date.  He competes against the other bachelors in The Bachelorette’s Mr. America Pageant.  During the after party, Chris reveals he writes poetry to Desiree.   At the cocktail party in Atlantic City, Chris finds out he’s not in the friend zone.

 

DATE THREE: One-on-One Date in Munich

Desiree picked Chris for the first international one-on-one date in Munich, Germany.  They are absorbing the German culture until Bryden interrupts to tell Desiree that he’s going home.  Talk about bad timing.

Despite an emotional detour, Desiree rallies back to normal after Chris reads another original poem for her.  The couple enjoys their dinner and a private concert by Matt White.

 

DATE FOUR: The Soccer Group Date in Barcelona

Chris went on the soccer group date with Desiree in Barcelona.  The team of bachelors lost the all-female team 10-2.  Desiree surprises Chris with a poem that she wrote for him.  The group date unfolds when tensions with James surface.

 

DATE FIVE: One-on-One Date in Madeira

Chris has his second one-on-one date with Desiree in Madeira.  They take a yacht to a deserted island where they have a picnic and send a message in a bottle.  Chris tells Desiree how big of a family he wants and follows up with a poem he wrote for her.  At the end of the poem, Chris tells Desiree he loves her.  She’s blown away by how open he is and can truly picture a life with him.

 

DATE SIX: Hometown Date in McMinnville, Oregon

Chris invited Desiree to his hometown of McMinnville, Oregon.  Chris takes Desiree to the baseball diamond that he used to play in.  He is impressed by the athletic prowess Desiree put on display.  Desiree gets a lumbar adjustment from Chris’ Father and the approval from his mother.

 

DATE SEVEN: Exotic Date in Antigua

Chris and Desiree meet on a picturesque beach, where a helicopter is waiting to take them to a deserted beach on the island of Barbuda. They reflect on her hometown visit and frolic in the blue ocean water, where the passion is turned up a notch. Later, over a romantic dinner, the couple discusses the possibility of a future together. However Chris has a major obstacle in his path that he feels he needs to bring up to Desiree before things go any further. His career path is not in Los Angeles, and he will need Desiree to relocate.
