The best part of Halloween is the candy. It’s the stuff that kids dream about, and Clinton’s got some great ideas to show you how to incorporate the sweet side of life into your Halloween party.
Pumpkin Lollipop Holder
This is a great way to display goodies for your trick-or-treaters. To make this holder, drill holes into a pumpkin using a small bit. Then pop your lollipops into the holes.
Gummy Candle Holders
Gummies look like stained glass when you have quite a few of them. To make these holders take two vases where is one larger than the other. Then nest the smaller one inside of the larger. In the space between the two, fill with gummy worms, gummy fish, gummy bears or whatever you want. When you place a votive inside and light the candle, it casts a colorful light!
Necco Wafer Table Runner
This table runner is simple. All you need to do is glue Necco wafers onto an old scrap of fabric with a hot glue gun.
Candy Corn Topiaries
Nothing says fall like candy corn. Try making this fun and festive set of topiaries made out of them! Just glue them to Styrofoam cones from your local craft store and arrange them.
Colored Sugars with Gerber Daisies
Remember as a kid, when you made designs in baby food jars with different colored sands? Clinton took that idea, and used all of the different colored sugars that are available at craft and baking stores. Then stick some Gerber daisies in the jar.
Licorice & Candy Button Napkin Rings
To make this, tie licorice or candy buttons around your silverware and use them as napkin rings.
