Are women better tasters than men? New studies from Norwegian Institute of Food suggest that women may have the upper hand when it comes to taste. Women in the study scored higher than men when it came to identifying and describing different tastes and flavors. Some scientists suggest the superior taste buds have an evolutionary explanation since women are primary care givers and needed stronger senses to know whether food was good or bad.

Mario’s wife also has an amazing sense of smell and often critiques his food saying it is either slightly too toasted, or has a little too much of a certain spice.
Guy’s wife, on the other hand, has a great sense of smell. She can often smell beer on him when he’s drinking, or if someone was smoking in a room.
