According to a recent study conducted by Professor Ryan McDevitt, customers who ordered online spent more money on their orders and ordered food with a significantly higher calories count than had they cooked at home. Professor McDevitt suggests that the anonymity of online ordering allows people to order unhealthy food without the shame of eating it in public.
