Can having your cell phone on the dinner table ruin a meal?  According to new research from Essex University, it can. The study showed that if a cell phone is visible during dinner, it causes people to feel less positive towards the person with whom they’re dining.
 
Forget the pharmacy when you’re feeling under the weather.  Pick up your next prescription at the farmers market.  Doctors at select clinics across the country are writing some obese patients “prescriptions” for fruits and vegetables. The Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program provides daily $1 subsidies to buy produce at local farmers markets.

Is knowledge of food and wine the secret to a woman’s heart? A brand new survey from Wakefield Research found that women prefer their man to be more knowledgeable in food and wine than in politics.
