It’s our Viewers’ Choice Week here on The Chew and yesterday we served up heaping portions of breakfast.

Love a hearty breakfast? Guess what, it’s healthier than you think says the University of Alabama! Eating a meal higher in fat right after waking up is much better than eating one later in the day according to their studies. Read more here.

Do you eat out at your local diner for breakfast? Beware those waitresses with red lipstick because you just may end up tipping them more! Men are likely to tip 50% more to waitresses with red lipstick than those without according to a report from the New York Post. However, lipstick color has no effect on women customers, FYI. Check it out here.

Those who eat lots of cereal for breakfast may want to consider using low-fat milk. The Atlantic is reporting that “Consuming plenty of low-fat dairy foods like milk and yogurt appears to reduce the risk of having a stroke.” All the details here.

In other news, the world’s most expensive hot dog is being sold in Little Rock, Arkansas. If you decide to get one, let us know how it tastes!

Those looking to sex up their salads and more might want to check out “A Cook’s Playlist of Vinegars that Rock”. It’s got vinegar recommendations as well as some recipes to go along with them.

Finally, if you are wondering about Madonna’s secret to longevity (and who isn’t???) you can read all about in the Vancouver Sun. Hint: good bacteria. What’s that? Find out here.
