After Daphne shares her portion control tips, Michael confesses that this is an area with which he struggles. In fact, the majority of his vests no longer fit! Similar to his dog, Michael eats whatever is placed in front of him. If his co-hosts make one meal on the show, he will eat the entire meal, and if The Chew Crew makes three dishes in one show, then he will eat all three meals! Needless to say, Michael is ALWAYS a member of the clean plate club, and often refrains from eating for the remainder of the day due to the fact that he is so full!
When 10pm rolls around though, Michael’s cravings kick in, and his snacks of choice are typically salt and vinegar chips or mint chocolate chip ice cream. In an effort to loosen his vests, though, Michael has been leaning towards a healthier pick, or so he thought. When his stomach starts rumbling, Michael reaches for two apples dipped in freshly ground peanut butter, this is until Daphne let him in on a little secret: his “healthy” nightly meal is the snack of body builders looking to put on weight! Before he reaches for a bag of chips or a pint of ice cream, Daphne explains to Michael that peanut butter is definitely a healthier pick, but he needs to learn to control his portions!
