Looking for new ways to reinvent leftovers? On today’s Last Bites, the co-hosts share two helpful tips for making your leftovers go the extra mile.
1. Stock your pantry with condiments. Figure out which cuisines you enjoy the most, and purchase condiments that will enable you to transform last night’s leftovers with ease. Think: soy sauce and hot sauce.
2. Cook once and eat all week. Think about big batch cooking so avoid impromptu trips to the grocery store and epic cooking sessions on a random Tuesday night. Instead, double the amount of chicken or vegetables that your family would normally eat and use the leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner.
