Just because you couldn’t make our party here in New York doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate The Chew’s new Food Life Fun book. We’ve got all the tips you need to throw a great cookbook party at home.Round Up Your Foodie Friends
We invited some of our friends, including chefs Marcus Samuelsson, Daniel Boulud and Jacques Torres, to head down to the studio and join our party. Find friends that enjoy trying out new dishes and reviving old ones as much as you do. Have each guest bring their favorite cookbook, maybe even The Chew
’s cookbook.Buy the cookbook here.Make It a Potluck
Sometimes the hardest part of hosting a party is making all the food. Here at The Chew
we believe that everyone should bring something to the table. So, when you invite your friends have them bring a preferred dish from their favorite cookbook.Share Tips and Ticks
The best part of a foodie book party, other than eating, is sharing. Take some time to talk about things you learned from the cookbook that will help your fellow chefs. If you love a vinaigrette dressing that your friend whipped up find out how they did it. Likewise if you finally found the best way to carve a chicken don’t be shy – share it!
