Dollar Store Crafts: Sandpaper Holiday Tree

Make this inexpensive table decoration that's good for the entire holiday season!

Materials
- Sheets of sand paper
- One dowel
- Piece of cardboard or wood for the base
- Small pieces of cardboard

Instructions
1. Mark off squares on backs of sandpaper sheets in these quantities & sizes:
   Twelve Squares - 6 INCHES
   Twelve Squares - 5 ½ INCHES
   Ten Squares - 5 INCHES
   Ten Squares - 4 ½ INCHES
   Nine Squares - 4 INCHES
   Eight Squares - 3 ½ INCHES
   Seven Squares – 3 INCHES
   Six Squares – 2 ½ INCHES
   Five Squares – 2 INCHES
   Four Squares – 1 ½ INCHES
2. Drill hole and place dowel into center of wood base or use nail through bottom to hold up dowel
3. Punch hole in center of each square
4. Place sandpaper squares through dowel, alternating by size and orientation.
5. Place small piece of cardboard between each sandpaper square
6. Place the final few squares to finish tree
