More to Chew On: Virtual Displays of Affection

By The Chew Crew | Oct 1st, 2013

In this day and age of social media, do we really need to show the world how in love we are? According to a new survey, 25% of Americans are extremely bothered by VDA, or Virtual Displays of Affection. What, specifically, is a VDA, you ask? A VDA is when you post a picture on social media of you and your significant other, either gushing about how in love you are or posting a mushy picture on his wall.

While Michael says he would never post a VDA, Daphne has nothing wrong with posting a romantic picture if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

Tell Us What You Think: What’s your stance on VDA? Are they a sweet and thoughtful display of your relationship or simply too much information?
