Basic Fondue

Who doesn't love fondue? Try our own cheesy version at home! Just take our recipe and add your favorite liquor or cream until it gets to a pourable state...and start dipping! Try it with cooked pasta on skewers, deep fried ravioli, fried mac and cheese balls, tortellini, or egg roll wrappers filled with mac and cheese!

Basic Fondue
  • 1 cup Half and Half
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 2 teaspoon Mustard Powder
  • 3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 6 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • In a medium saucepot over medium heat, combine the half and half, beer, mustard powder, and all-purpose flour. Warm, but do not allow to boil. Fold in the cheese and stir until melted. Transfer to a warm fondue pot. Serve immediately with accoutrements.
