  • 1 pound Pitted Frozen or Fresh Cherries (thawed and drained with juice reserved)
  • 1/4 cup Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

    1 pound Pitted Frozen or Fresh Cherries (thawed and drained with juice reserved)
    In a blender or food processor, puree the cherries.

    1/4 cup Juice of 1 Lemon
    1/4 cup Water
    1/2 cup Sugar
    In a saucepan over medium heat, add the cherry puree, lemon juice, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil and reduce by half, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and strain sauce through a sieve and allow to cool before use.
