  • 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes
  • blanched and drained 8 ounces low fat cream cheese
  • room temperature 1/4 cup walnuts
  • finely chopped 1/3 cup dry white wine1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • freshly squeezed2 cloves garlic
  • minced 1 teaspoon your favorite hot spice combination3/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/3 cup fresh basil

    1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, blanched and drained
    8 ounces low fat cream cheese, room temperature
    1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
    1/3 cup dry white wine
    1 teaspoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    Combine first 6 ingredients (sundried tomatoes through garlic) in a food processor. Process until well-blended.

    1 teaspoon your favorite hot spice combination
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    1/3 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
    Remove to large bowl and stir in hot spice, salt, pepper and basil. Chill for about 1 hour.

    Melba toast rounds
    Spread 2 teaspoons of sundried tomato mixture on each melba toast and arrange on large platter.
