Mario Batali's Chile Pesto Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Blanched and sliced almonds
  • 1/2 Red onion (diced)
  • 1/4 Cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Habanero pepper (sliced)
  • 2 Jalapenos (sliced)
  • 4 Serrano peppers (sliced)
  • salt to taste
Directions
  • Combine the peppers, almonds, and onion in the bowl of a food processor. Season with salt to taste.
  • Pulse until pureed, then slowly drizzle in the oil until emulsified.
