Michael Symon's Midwestern Short Ribs
- 2 pound Shortrib (sliced very thin)
- Salt and Freshly ground Pepper
- Cornstarch (for dusting)
- Peanut Oil (for frying)
- Preheat the peanut oil to 350F.
- Season short ribs with salt. Lightly dredge the short ribs with cornstarch, then drop in the oil. Fry for 3 to 4 minutes, then drain on a paper towel lined plate. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with Spicy Celery Giarginiera.
