Everyone loves a good chocolate chip cookie. Give chef Michael Symon's straightfoward recipe a try.
  • 6 T unsalted butter (¾ lb) 1 c and 2 T granulated sugar (263 g) 1 c and 2 T light brown sugar (263 g) 3 large eggs3 t vanilla extract (12 g)2 c and 2 T ap flour (494 g)4 t baking powder (18 g)1 t salt (6 g)2 c chocolate chips (487 g)

    6 T unsalted butter (¾ lb) 
    1 cup and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (263 g)
    1 cup and 2 tablespoons light brown sugar (263 g) 
    In a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter with the two sugars until light and fluffy.

    3 large eggs
    3 teaspoons vanilla extract (12 g) 
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition Add vanilla extract.

    2 cup and 2 tablespoons ap flour (494 g)
    4 teaspoon baking powder (18 g)
    1 teaspoon salt (6 g) 
    In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

    2 cup chocolate chips (487 g)
    With the mixer on low, add flour mixture to the butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
