  • 1 15-ounce can of Pear Halves (packed in water; drained)
  • 1/3 cup Brandy
  • 1 pint Vanilla Ice Cream 
  • 1 package Butter Cookies or Shortbread (crumbled)
  • Whipped Cream (unsweetened; for garnish)
  • Cinnamon (for garnish)

    1 15-ounce can of Pear Halves (packed in water; drained)
    1/3 cup Brandy
    Slice the pears into thin wedges. Place in a mixing bowl and add the brandy. Let soak for 5 minutes and then drain.

    1 pint Vanilla Ice Cream
    1 package Butter Cookies or Shortbread (crumbled)
    In a glass, layer a few slices of pear, a scoop of ice cream (press flat with the back of a spoon) and a 1/4 cup of cookies. Repeat until the glass is full.

    Whipped Cream (unsweetened; for garnish)
    Cinnamon (for garnish)
    Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
