Spicy Tequila Cocktail

  • 1 teaspoon ground Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Lime wedge
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces Tequila Blanco
  • 3 ounces Bloody Mary Mix
  • 3 dashes Hot Sauce
  • sliced Jalapenos (to garnish)
  • Ice

  • Combine salt and ground chili powder on a small plate. Rub the rim of a chilled 12-ounce glass with a lime wedge, then dip into the salt mixture. Fill a cocktail shaker three quarters full with ice. Add lime juice, tequila, bloody mary mix, and hot sauce, then shake. Pour mixture into glass and garnish with jalapeno slices. For a thinner cocktail, let drink sit on ice for about 5 minutes.
