Feel free to leave out the vodka for a refreshing summertime beverage.
- 1/2 Lemon (juiced)
- 1 ounce Strawberry-Sage Puree
- 1 1/2 ounces Vodka
- Seltzer to top off Drink
- Lemon Slices to garnish
For the Strawberry-Sage Puree:
- 1 quart Strawberries
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 8 Sage Leaves
- In a highball glass, combine the lemon juice, strawberry-sage puree, and vodka and stir to combine. Top with seltzer and garnish with a lemon slice.
- For the Strawberry-Sage Puree: Preheat your oven to 425F. Toss the strawberries and sage leaves in the sugar. Spread on a sheet tray and roast for 20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and then puree in a food processor.
