  • 12 Domestic Lamb Chops; frenched
  • 1/4 cup Flakey Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Lavender
  • Olive Oil

    12 Domestic Lamb Chops; frenched
    1/4 cup Flakey Sea Salt
    1 tablespoon Dried Lavender
    Begin by rubbing the Dried Lavender in your fingers to release some of its Oil. Mix the Lavender with the Sea Salt and set aside. You can make as much Salt as you like in advance as it holds so well.

    Salted Chops
    Olive Oil
    Heat your grill to medium-high.  Let the Chops come to room temperature. Then lightly season the meat with Salt and Pepper and brush with Olive Oil. Pace the Chops on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they have a nice char.  Remove the Chops from the grill and sprinkle both sides with Lavender Salt then serve!

    Helpful Tips:
    1. Salt and pepper the lamb up to the night before
    2. Set the grill to medium-high
    3. The herbed salts will keep for a long time!
    4. Make sure to massage the herbs into the salt. This works best with harder herbs.
    5. For salt: cook with kosher salt, finish with course sea salt
