  • 1
    Pre-heat a panini press to medium-high.
  • 2
    Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
    4 slices Brioche Bread
Smear the Hazelnut Chocolate spread on half of the Bread and place another slice of Bread on top to make sandwiches.
  • 3
    1 cup Milk
    1 Eggs
    Pinch Nutmeg
    Pinch of Salt
In a shallow dish, whisk together the Milk, Egg, Nutmeg and Salt.
  • 4
Working in batches, dredge the sandwiches in the mixture to coat lightly on both sides. Place on the Panini press and close. Cook until golden and slightly crispy.
  • 5
    Warm Syrup
Remove and serve warm with syrup.

    Helpful Tips:
    1. Use any spread (peanut butter, jam, etc.) to stuff the French toast.
    2. To have a more pudding-like texture, let the bread soak for a minute.
    3. As an alternative to a Panini press, use non-stick pan or cast-iron skillet
