Served with potato pancakes, it's the perfect meal for Hanukkah!
- 3 Granny Smith Apples (peeled/cored/diced)
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider
- Kosher Salt
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add apples, lightly season with salt, and add the apple cider and cinnamon stick. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until apples are soft and broken down about 15-20 minutes. Remove pan from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- With an immersion blender, or food processor puree the apple mixture until they become apple sauce.
