Perfect Poached Egg
- 1 Egg
- 8 ounces Boiling Water in a Tea Kettle
- Preheat an oven to 250°F. Place an ovenproof cereal bowl (holding about 1 1/2 cups) in the oven until bowl is hot.
- Gently crack the Egg into the pot, and then pour the water from the kettle gently into the bowl on one side of the cracked Egg. Let the Egg sit, undisturbed, for 4 to 5 minutes. Drain the Egg from the water and blot gently on a paper towel.
