The Gravi-Tea AKA Ginger Rabbit by Clinton Kelly

  • 1/2 ounce Bergamot Ginger Simple Syrup
  • 1 slice Fresh Ginger
  • 1 slice Lemon Peel
  • 2 ounces Bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce Chambord
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • Bergamot Ginger Simple Syrup
  • 1 Earl Grey Tea Bag
  • 1 slice Fresh Ginger
  • Simple Syrup; warm (1 cup water; 1 cup sugar)
step-by-step directions
  • Add the Syrup and Ginger to a mixing glass. Twist the Lemon Peel over the glass to extract the oils. Drop the peel into the glass and muddle. Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Stir, and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Combine the Sugar and Water in a pot over medium heat, stir until the Sugar dissolves, and then add the Tea Bag. Steep for 15 minutes and then discard the Tea Bag and strain into a clean vessel.
