Frankie's Mother's Day Menu

Frankie is really a superhero and on Mother’s Day her kids like to remind that they sort of appreciate here.  If you’re looking for a Midwestern menu that will please the whole of Orson, Indiana check out this one, courtesy of ABC's  The Chew.

Main Courses
Corned Beef and Hash Casserole

This dish is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and leftovers. It’s got the hearty meat that every growing kid needs and a simple preparation that every mom wants because let’s be honest Frankie will probably end up making it herself.

Rice with Sausage and a Fried Egg
Nothing beats a good sausage and egg dish for brunch. It’s hearty, it’s tasty and it’s something the whole family will eat – basically it’s the best of breakfast foods.

These biscuits are perfect for finishing off all the extra sauce and drippings from your hearty breakfast. And they’re not so bad on their own either!

Cinnamon Buns

You can’t have a proper bunch without something sweet! These sticky buns are just the thing. With an extra dose of cream cheese frosting and enough sugar and butter to keep you going for a while these sinfully delicious treats are the perfect way to tell someone, like mom, that you care.

Top all this off with a piping hot pot of coffee and you’ve got the meal that’s sure to please any Midwestern mom.
