Episode 301: Vanessa's Audition Recipe: Turkish Kabob with Roast Pepper Sauce

Challenge: Auditions
Dish: Turkish kabob with roast pepper sauce

Ingredients:
Kabob:

1 lb ground lamb
1 lb ground veal
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
3 clove garlic
2 onion
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp bread crumbs

Pepper sauce:
2 red pepper
1 red chili pepper
½ cup walnut
1 baguette
1 cup chicken stock
1 lemon, juiced
10 cherry tomatoes
2 sprig mint
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

Mix together all ingredients form long shaped kebobs and grill. Roast peppers, peel & take out seeds. Add all ingredients for sauce into blender. Season to taste. Carmelize onion. Chop tomatoes, marinate in oil & vinegar, and toss with mint.
