Ice Cube on New Film "Straight Outta Compton"
Ice Cube tells “The View” co-hosts about the new film “Straight Outta Compton.” It is a biopic based on the Rap group he was a part of called NWA.  The film is not only about the group it’s about the history of the police brutality against African-Americans in Compton. During the violence at that time in the 80s there were no camera phones or twitter to capture what was going on.  NWA used their music to tell the public what was going on. Ice Cube  also wrote the script for the film 90s film “Friday” from which the term "Bye Felicia," originated.

"Straight Outta Compton" Cast
The cast of the film “Straight Outta Compton” including: O'Shea Jackson Jr., Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins.  O’Shea Jackson Jr., son of NWA member Ice Cube, auditioned for two years to get the role of Ice Cube. Corey came from doing Shakespeare on Broadway to play Dr. Dre. Jason plays Easy-E. He had to do a lot a research and there are still some grey areas as the legendary Rapper passed away twenty years ago.

The “That’s So Raven” cast including Anneliese Vander Pol and Orlando Brown reunite on “The View” with Raven-Symone. As comedians they were doing very funny stuff which Anneliese attributes to Raven as she led the way with her incredible physical comedy.  On the show they talked about topics in a funny and serious way that made it relatable to people. They are also talented singers and dancers that often performed musical and dance numbers on “That’s So Raven.” Today Orlando is in the film "Straight Outta Compton."  Annaliese is performing in a solo show at 54 Below in NY.
