Sandra Bland Death Leaves Texas Police with Many Questions to Answer
Sandra Bland was pulled over by Texas Police for a failure to signal. The stop escalated and much of what happened was not caught on camera making people question what happened. Three days after being taken into custody Sandra Bland was found dead in her cell. Police are now investigating what happened during the stop and in her cell.
Kate Steinle's Family on "The View": Brother Talks About Sanctuary Cities and Kate's Law
Kate Steinle was shot and killed by an un-documented immigrant in San Francisco. Many feel this tragedy could have been avoided if the Sanctuary Cities law in place did not give way for the harboring of immigrants that committed felonies. The policy is questionable as it has become unclear who it protects, civilians or immigrants. Kate's brother Brad and sister-in-law Amy Steinle, talk about Kate and feel immigrants who want to come here and create a better life for their family should be allowed to come to America. They are also petitioning for Kate’s Law which states immigrants that commit a felony will be deported and if they return and get caught they will be detained.
