Design Expert Kelley Moore Turns Leftover Candy into Creative Treats

Months after the trick-or-treaters have stopped ringing your bell, the piles of Halloween candy still haunt your pantry. So what can you do with it, besides gorge yourself every day? Design expert Kelley Moore showed how to turn that candy into creative treats!

Jolly Rancher Lollipops

1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray non-stick cooking spray
2. Lay candy on cookie sheet so that it is touching
3. Bake at 275 degrees for about 7-8 minutes (take them out when they have melted together)
4. Place the lollipop stick in
5. Let them set at room temperature

Candy Sushi

1. Make a batch of Rice Krispy squares
2. Add the candy on top of the rolled out squares
3. Roll the candy out
4. Cut the sushi roll
5. Wrap the fruit roll up around it

Handmade Pies

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
3. Roll out the pie crust
4. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter
5. Place candy on one side of each pie dough.
6. Fold the dough over the candy and crimp the edges with fork
7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown—then let cool
8. Drizzle melted chocolate over the hand pies
