The View Reacts to Trump's Black History Month Fail: Frederick Douglass is Not Still Alive
Omarosa Manigault was recently on The View discussing her planning of President Trump's Listening Session celebrating Black History Month. The event took place on February 1st, but it left many doubting whether President Trump knows any Black history as he referred to Frederick Douglass as if he were still alive. Frederick Douglass died over 100 years ago. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer did not help the situation as his remarks defending President Trump also gave the same impression, that he is not familiar with Frederick Douglass. This sparked the social media hashtag Trump Black History. The View co-hosts take a moment to remember the accomplishments of Frederick Douglass .
