Claire is an FBI agent who uses her intuition and compassion into the child’s mind to stop Drill before another child falls victim. At the same time, she’s frantically searching for answers on what happened to her husband, Sean Bennigan, who was believed to have died in a plane crash. To make matters worse, Claire discovers her son Henry is playing Drill’s game as well.
Tony nominee Lily Rabe continues to shine on screen and stage.
On television, Rabe most recently starred on Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Coven. She is one of four actors who has been part of the American Horror Story series from the beginning, playing a completely new character each season. Lily played Nora Montgomery on the first season, Sister Mary Eunice on the second season, and Misty Day in the third. She was nominated for a 2013 Critics’ Choice Award for “Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Miniseries” for her role in the second season.
On stage, Rabe most recently received rave reviews for her performance as “Beatrice” in Jack O’ Brian’s celebrated production of Much Ado About Nothing in the Public’s Shakespeare in the Park. She has performed in the Park every other summer since 2010, when she starred as Portia opposite Al Pacino in Dan Sullivan’s production of The Merchant of Venice. She returned to the Delactore to play Rosalind in Sullivan’s production of As You Like It in 2012, for which she received a Drama League Nomination. She earned a Callaway Award, as well as nominations for a Tony, Drama Desk and Drama League Award, for her performance in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice, reprising her critically-acclaimed Central Park performance of Portia. Last year, she played the title character in Neil Labute’s adaptation of Miss Julie at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. She made her Broadway debut in Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias, which garnered her a Drama Desk Award nomination. Lily was nominated for a Drama League Award for her performance in Theresa Rebeck’s Seminar opposite Alan Rickman. Lily has starred in several other Broadway plays including The American Plan (Manhattan Theatre Club) and Heartbreak House (Roundabout Theater Company) in which she received a Callaway Award and Outer Critics Circle nomination. Additionally, she has performed in various Off-Broadway and Regional plays including A Doll’s House (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Crimes of the Heart (Roundabout Theater Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival), Colder Than Here (MCC), and Proof (Gloucester Stage Company.)
Rabe recently wrapped Blumhouse’s The Veil, in which she played the lead, directed by Phil Joanou. Other film credits include All Good Things starring opposite Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst, Beyond Redemption, Letters from the Big Man, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, Weakness, Aftermath, What Just Happened, The Toe Tactic, A Crime, No Reservations, Mona Lisa Smile and Never Again.
On television, Lily was featured on The Good Wife, Nip/Tuck, Medium and all three Law & Order series, among others.
Lily graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre.
