Lol, it's a little sad, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the gouvernment that was getting this show cancelled. It's a great show, but if they put it off until March they're going to lose viewers... and then they'll cancel it. They already know all this. It's what we call "pre-canceling" Hopefully the ratings stay good after its long break, because it realy is an enjoyable show.

I think ABC has something that they feel is stronger to air in competition with the Olympics. Because that's all they are concerned about, anyway, is money. It has nothing whatsoever to do with what what a few million viewers want, it's all about the sponsors. The sponsors hold the purse strings, and if you believe for one second that isn't what drives programming, you are kidding yourself. This show charged out of the gates, due entirely to intensive promotion, but as the weeks go by, it has weakened signifigantly, due entirely to weak scripting and bad acting. Eye-candy alone is not enough to sustain a healthy viewship, thus sponsorship. They have alot of competition in that time slot, and they need more than this slick piece of fluff to contend for their share of the audience.

If that last comment is true, I sure hope that Anna isn't interviewed by every news show making comments about her new book and how lousy her "son-in-law" is. And would Anna invite her son-in-law over for the holiday dinner? What would they eat?

Haven't watched a sitcome in over 15 years. Please don't cancell this . I'm trying to get everyone I know to watch it. As an audio/video editor I must say the acting on Annas behalf has been nothing short of amazing......Best show on telivsion.

ooooo. A show where the ideal technologically advanced people are white and there is a single black man who heads the resistance against the white peoples plans. Real ground breaking. At least Flashforward has a mutli ethnic diverse cast. V stinks.

Oh by the way SGI-Universe shows next-day. Hero's airs next-day. Why can't ABC air next-day? Waiting until Saturday makes me wanna not see it, but I had nothing to do so I saw it anyway. Seems like you guys don't have the programming know-how.

When I saw the show years ago the V's wanted our water and human flesh to eat. If this is the same premise you'd better change it because that was lame.

Did I miss something? V was pulled off the air at the insistence of the White House. Look for next season to have a whole different feeling to it. The show was a great start...The head writer was fired for his parallel references to the current government attempt at a marxist takeover...Look for next season to have a much more "predictable" bad guy...A Sarah Palin look alike with a Wasilla accent...Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Amazing episode. Cant wait for next week. it is unfortunate, that next week is the last episode for this year. i wonder when will be back.

I was a youngster when the original 'V' was aired, and I loved it (contrary to some of the other comments here, I saw it through a child's eye and did't believe it was campy at all). Now my children are watching it, and I'm even more delighted. Yes, the story is too accelerated, but it's still powerful and well done. And no Viagra or Cialis commercials, which as a parent I greatly appreciate. It's something we can enjoy together, which is a blessing from television these days. My kids and I truly hope ABC will bring more 'V' to the table,

I do not understand why ABC will get you hooked on a series and then just stop it for a while. I understand they need to test a series but they need to have better ways to continue a program. I can't believe they are going to make us wait 4 months. I will say that streaming is a great medium. I missed the series on TV but decided to give it a try and almost watched all 4 episodes back to back. It is a great series. I think streaming will replace cable at some point because it is on demand and rarely is a series on when I can watch it. The commercials are short and tolerable unlike regular TV. The only problem with the commercials is that the same one repeats over and over. I would prefer a little variety. V was not marketed well enough. It is a great series but I knew very little about it and it seemed campy before I watched it. ABC: Do not give up on it. It could have a Star Trek type following. You will find that SciFi followers are very loyal. Keep up the good work but you got me hooked and then let me down by delaying the 5th episode. Work on your follow through. I presently have no way to know when you will start the series back up and even if you told me now I would probably forget since one of the comments suggested it will be 4 months. Luckily there is streaming. Good Luck.

IM NOT MUCH INTO SCI FI, HOWEVER THIS SHOW IS FRESH!!! LET'S HOPE ABC DOES NOT AXE IT. THE theme song IS DONE BY MUSE, THEY ARE A GREAT BAND, JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

This V has done to the original campy V what the new Battlestar Galactica did to its predecessor--give it a real social commentary on our own current affairs and make the science more believable. I like the way the V's make promises like universal healthcare and "peace always" while having their very own secret evil agenda. The parallel to the current U.S. government will be complete if Anna wins the Nobel Peace Prize. It's interesting that we will have to wait a few months for the fifth episode--the Roman numeral for episode five being V.

I remember watching the original 1983 version. I really like this new version, so please don't cancel it.

It looks like Elizabeth Mitchell was destined to star in this series...her name on Lost was Juliet, and now she is playing the role of the original "Julie" in the old V series....AND her real name is Elizabeth, the name of the crossbreed character on the original V series. Just an observation...

Has it occurred to anyone that this story line may have an element of truth in it? I find it fascinating that "they" are bringing V back at this time with all that is going on in the world: the thrust for a "new world order", global warming, the global economy, the uncertainty of 2012 looming over us, etc. I challenge all of you to read below the lines and look deeper . . . what truth is being revealed? Are the Visitors/reptilians only fiction? What do you think?

I love this show. Waiting till March for another episode is too long. I hope I don't forget about this series.
